How much can I borrow on Kuda for the first time?

Kuda offers a loan of about N3,000,000 (three million naira) held by the borrower for a period not less than 2 years. Your first loan from Kuda app would be a maximum of N5,000 five thousand naira. If you can build up a good lending and payback relationship history with Kuda, you will be qualified for higher loans eventually.

Can I borrow 500000 in Kuda?

At the initial stage of your customer-hood with Kuda, you will only be allowed to borrow from N1,500 to N500,000 with a duration of about 60 days. The interest percentage rate is usually 10% to 30% depending on the customer’s preferred loan package.

What will happen if I don’t pay my Kuda loan?

If you don’t make your repayment by the due date, Kuda may charge late penalties, suspend your loan account, report you to the national credit agency, and possibly permanently bar you from borrowing from other reputable lending organizations.

Is my BVN safe with Kuda?

Yes, your BVN (Bank Verification Number) is 100% safe with Kuda. During loan request, Kuda will demand for your BVN for verification and loan processing. Kuda will not and cannot withdraw your money from your bank account using your BVN.
